Our Story

Knitted Together was founded with the purpose of preserving the sanctity of life for babies and well being of mothers. Stability, safety, and housing resources are key to healthy pregnancies and families. No mother should have to choose between continuing her pregnancy and paying the rent. Every child is made in God's image, knitted together for a purpose. 

In 2018, God planted the mission and a vision of the Mother House for Knitted Together. Through prayer and faith, the Mother House was found in 2020, exactly as God described it! The Mother House is located on 4 acres in Southern Minnesota within 10 minutes of city resources, county services, and transportation access. This house is dedicated to the mission; it's the Knitted Together Mother House. 

Knitted Together is led by a board of directors and an executive director with spiritual covering from a local church. The organization will open its doors to pregnant mothers in the beginning of 2025! 

We have faith in God's plan and His Kingdom's culture; Knitted Together needs supporters to prepare for mothers and babies. In this time of preparation, people who are passionate about this mission can support financially, by offering skilled labor on house projects, by volunteering your time, and by praying and telling friends that we're here and getting ready!
