Our Story

Knitted Together was founded with the purpose of preserving the sanctity of life for babies and well being of mothers. We believe that stability, safety, and housing resources are key to healthy pregnancies and families. No mother should have to choose between having their baby and paying their rent. We believe that every mother and their child are made in God's image, knitted together for a purpose. This purpose includes a community of people to wrap-around their family for support, services, and goal-driven planning. 

In 2018, God planted the mission and a vision of the actual Mother House of Knitted Together. Through prayer and faith, the Mother House was found in 2020, exactly as God described it! The Mother House and Staff House are located on 4 acres in southern Minnesota within 10 minutes of city resources, county services, and transportation access. This property was attained through God's great provision and is dedicated to this ministry and His plan. 

Knitted Together is led by a board of directors and an executive director with spiritual covering from a local church. The ministry plans to open its doors to pregnant mothers in the Spring of 2024. 

We have faith in God's plan and His Kingdom's culture; Knitted Together needs the hands and feet of the Lord to prepare for mothers and their babies. In this time of preparation, people who believe in this mission can support financially, with house projects, and by volunteering.
